Customer Question

I cannot set my shutter speed in M, P, S, or A mode on my Lumix DMC ZS40. The rotary dial that always controlled the shutter speed now controls only the White Balance. What have I done?

Hello. My name is***** can help you with your question.

There is a function button on the back of the camera near the dial that can be used to change the function of the dial. But I would check the menu set button. The menu set button takes you in and out of the menu mode. Pressing menu set should get you either into the menu or out of the menu and make it operate like you're used to. If that doesn't help, press the Q menu button which functions like an escape button. If not, let me know and we will take it from there.
