I have a Panasonic DMC-FZ8 Camera. When I look at a subject

Customer Question

I have a Panasonic DMC-FZ8 Camera. When I look at a subject through the Viewfinder, there is a noticeable blue hew over every part of the subject. Looking at the same subject through the LCD Monitor, the subject appears normal. What can I do to correct the view image in the Viewfinder?

Hello. My name is***** can help you with your question.

There is only one setting for the viewfinder. You can try correcting it with this, but if it does not work, then the viewfinder self may need to be replaced.

Press command dial to display the [SETUP] menu and select the item to set. You can adjust the brightness of the monitor or the Viewfinder in steps. There are other settings for the LCD such as high angle mode which would change the color drastically. But since your problem is with the viewfinder the LCD settings will not have an effect. Please let me know if you still have questions.
