Do you get any menu functions on the display?

Can you play back previous photos

If you take a photo can you view it if you download to a PC

Hi Neil,We can't access any photos or videos when it's plugged into the computer either. We have a blank black screen when the camera is turned on. No menus available when it's turned on. Nothing happens when we hit the display or menu buttons. It does seem to take a photo. The flash goes off. Nothing displays after.

Remove the card and plug into a card reader on your computer and see if you can view the pictures that way...

It sounds like you may have a faulty lcd display...

Do you know if there are any options beyond the LCD screen?Do you know of any resources to get it fixed?

Your manual is here:

Try the reset on page 66 but if no luck then will need a new lcd. It would be more economical to change the camera I'm afraid...

A new lcd is only around $15:

But the labour to replace may make it not cost effective to replace so unless you do it yourself I would suggest a new camera...
