There is indeed no sign nor mention of any battery, in the camera's specifications. So I have to say that the problem is quite simply: Either your camera is 'broken', in some way that is difficult to diagnose - after all, it will not turn On - or else the jack where the power plugs in is broken or stressed to the point where the camera does not get enough power to turn On.
Has the camera's power cord ever been yanked on, or tripped over, or similar events putting stress on the jack on the camera?
