I had a Cannon Camcorder Model E-65 that uses 8 mm cassettes

Customer Question

I had a Cannon Camcorder Model E-65 that uses 8 mm cassettes This camera no longer works but I want to see the movies I made with this camera. What players or recrders can I now use to view these 8mm movies? I would appreciate whatever assistance you can give me

Hello and thank you for your question. I look forward to assisting you today! A standard 8mm player would work but you would have to search somewhere like eBay to find one. Depending on how many tapes you have, you could have them professionally transferred which is what I would recommend. The older the tapes are the more degraded the video becomes. If you have them transferred to a digital format, that no longer becomes a concern. Check this LINK and let me know if you have more questions.
