I cannot transfer my photos from the chip of my Cannon SX 280 to my computer. They have changed to CTG type. What to I have to do to transfer the files to the ones compatible to be transfer

CTG is a catalog index file created on Canon digital cameras, stored in the CANONMSC folder which corresponds to other folders saved on the memory card. CTG files contain information about the number of images stored in each folder on the memory card but are not the images themselves, you do not try to open these.
you need to look for the actual image files on the card and these are what you want to transfer. These are generally in the DCIM folder on the camera, and when you double click them, they will then open and you see the photo.
These are the files you need to copy to the computer, not the CTG files.
