Hello, my name is***** be happy to assist you.
Please allow me to ask you a few questions to diagnose the problem.
- Does camera show pictures saved on memory card?
- What Windows running in your computer that is being hooked to camera?
Thanks.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
My operating system is Windows 7. Yes,I can preview my pictures in the camera.
Expert:  Shahid replied 2 years ago.
OK, have you tried to plug the memory card in computer then click on Start > Computer and find Mass Storage device icon that may appear?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes, there are 3 files with pictures I have taken previously but no sign of the ones I just took.
Expert:  Shahid replied 2 years ago.
Is there any other folder visible or just one folder contains those three picture files?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
There are 3 files: DCIM (with my other pictures) MISC and NCFL, both empty.
Expert:  Shahid replied 2 years ago.
OK, please click on Tools link on Computer window (where you see drive icons) and select Folder Options, a pop up window will open, click on View tab and select Show Hidden Files, Folders and Drives option.
Click Apply and OK to close that window.
Now click on DCIM folder, do you get new picture files there?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I'm sorry, you lost me. I don't see a tools link; just a list of the drives.
Expert:  Shahid replied 2 years ago.
Sorry about it, please check tool bar on top of Computer window where you would see Files, Edit, View, Tools and Help links.
Expert:  Shahid replied 2 years ago.

Mine doesn't say that. I see Organize System properties, Uninstall or change program, Map network Drive, and Open control Panel
Expert:  Shahid replied 2 years ago.
OK, please click on Start button on lower left of screen, you will see "search program and files" option at bottom on pop up, type 'show hidden files' and hit Enter key to get required Folder Option pop up window and select "show hidden files, folder or drives" option to go.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Ok, did that. Clicked ok at bottom of screen - it wouldn't let me use the apply button. Not sure what I'm looking for....
Expert:  Shahid replied 2 years ago.
Normally the option set on "Don't show hidden files.." and if you select "Show hidden files..." then it will enable Apply button.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I changed it to Show Hidden Files, but it didn't enable the apply button. Do I need to click the Reset Folders option at the top?
Expert:  Shahid replied 2 years ago.
No, please do not click on reset-folder option.
Can you reboot your computer and check the memory card for fresh picture files?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
ok.
Expert:  Shahid replied 2 years ago.
Thanks.

I was working on a deadline and ran out of time. Took the SIM card to my editor and he downloaded it to his computer without any problem.
Expert:  Shahid replied 2 years ago.
OK, so rebooting the computer didn't work either?
