I bought a Nikon COOLPIX S9500 Wi-Fi Digital Camera with 22x

Customer Question

I bought a Nikon COOLPIX S9500 Wi-Fi Digital Camera with 22x Zoom and GPS (Black)
in September 2014 and it has been an amazing camera but the shutter button sticks and works after repeated tries. Doe the camera need to be cleaned or what would cause this?
Many thanks, Carol ******

When you say it sticks, do you mean it stays depressed?
Or it moves but nothing happens on the camera until you press it a number of times?

Can you press the menu button then Setup (the wrench icon)
Select Reset all so the camera is reset to default, correcting any firmware issues.
Then try to take a photo and tell me please if you still have the problem.
Let me know the results please
