Nikon d60. Ive had it and im still not as famliar with

Nikon d60. Ive had it for yrs and im still not as famliar with it as i should be. Usually when you take a photo, it shows up on the screeen and by using the arrow , you can scan back and forth and look at what youve shot. I can get any photos to come up for me to see, old ones or new ones i just did. Im sure its just a setting , but i cant fig it out. Can yo help

If you think it might be a settings issue, the best thing you can try is a rest, (through the custom functions menu), and then make sure the review time in the playback menu is NOT set to off. Ther are several other settings available.
Try this first and let me know what happens.
