Hi. My name is***** own a small camera repair business and am a technician with over 25 years in the business. I'll be glad to help you.

Their are a couple of possibilities. Either the LCD display has gone bad or there is a component failure on the circuit board it connects to. I've seen both cases and it is usually the display itself.

This really isn’t a user serviceable problem and should be repaired by a qualified technician. You may want to check locally for a camera repair shop in your area, or, if you need assistance finding a shop, please let me know and I'll locate one for you.

I understand. There are some things that require professional attention by a qualified camera technician and this is one of them. At least you know it's not a settings issue and have a plan to get the camera repaired.
