I have a Canon DS 126311 that will not let me take a photo Orange flash at front of camera flashes can you help please On holidays in Budapest took a lot of photos at night Next day cannot get it working

From what you have described, you have activated the self-timer mode. Press the Drive button (the left section of the multi-selector on the rear of the camera). This will display the Drive menu. Select single shot (the icon of the single frame to the left) and press the SET button. A detailed instruction with a picture is on page 89 of your manual. If you do not have it handy, you can download a PDF copy at the link below.
