Hello. My name is***** will be your Primary Care Technician and I can assist you with your question. In order to fix this you will have to replace at least the mode dial. Unfortunately, the damage could be more serious than that since dropping the device can lead to problems with the motherboard, the battery, or other functional controls. The best thing you could do is to have it looked at by a Panasonic certified service center or send it back to Panasonic directly.
Are you able to turn the mode dial to select the camera mode? Does the error change it all if you do turn it?
