Hello Rusty,
I have a JVC GZHM430SE with 64Gb Samsung EVO micro SD (with SD adapter). It made 3 files which are OK and some 10 files which seem to be corrupt. The camera relocated them to EXTMOV directory on the card. I copied these files to a pc and found no program which can open them, even not VLC and PowerDirector 13.
What can I do? The recordings are important enough to try to rescue them.

Hello my name is***** look forward to assisting and am very sorry to hear that you are having this problem.
Before anything else I want to make sure you know it is extremely possible that you will not be able to recover any of these images, although I wish I did I have no control over that.
Download and install recuva from here:
http://www.piriform.com/recuva
Choose priform under the free version.
Make sure the camera is connected to the computer and open recuva.
Click next and then choose pictures and click next again.
Choose on media card or ipod then click next (cameras etc show up under this for some reason).
Put a check in the box that says enable deep scan and then click on start.
If anything at all can be recovered this will find it.
If it does not find anything unfortunately although I wish you could you will not be able to recover anything.
