Customer Question

I'm trying to download videos from a Canon Vixia HFR52 into iTunes on a Mac and I keep getting the note that they can't be imported because "they may be an unrecognized file type or the files may not contain valid data." We can watch the videos on the camera and we've transferred videos from this camera to this computer multiple times successfully. Any ideas?!?

Hello! Thank you for your question. I will be assisting you today.
I'm sorry about the issue. Did you make any change recently on the camera or on the computer that may have caused the issue?
What's the format / extension of these video files?
Can you compare the format / name / extension of a previous video file that you were able to download previously to the format of a new video file you are trying to download?
