Customer Question

I have a Fujifilm 3800 - I bought it about 8 years ago. It's a digital camera.
The batteries are fully charged.
The camera stopped working all of a sudden.
The lens no longer extends when I move from "off" to the red image of a camera.
I have used this camera extensively for 8 years. I never had any problems with it.

Hello there and welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you today. I am an engineer with over 30 years of electrical and electronic training, repair and installation experience. I will try and answer your question accurately and precisely so that we can get you on your way.
Unfortunately, when this type of device stops working, there isn't much that the end user can try. You have replaced the batteries. The only suggestion that I have is to pull the memory card out completely and see if the camera turns on.
If it doesn't then you have a problem with the power supply or the power switch on the camera.
Give it a try and let me know.
