Customer Question

The monitor window on my D5200 has suddenly stopped working. Everything else is fine, but I get no readout whatsoever. It lights-up, but nothing on the screen. Any ideas?

One that doesn't power up at all could be a bad LCD, a bad connection to the main circuit board or a defective component on the circuit board itself. This really isn’t a user serviceable problem and should be repaired by a qualified technician. You may want to check locally for a camera repair shop in your area, or, if you need assistance finding a shop, please let me know and I'll locate one for you.
