I have a pentax DL2...
I have a pentax DL2 and everytime i plug my usb cable in ,it shuts down my pc,well the screen goes black ,tried the usb cable by itself ,,ok ,as soon as i plug in the camera,bang ,and i have to reboot..doesnt show 'pc connected' like it used too...

Hello,

 

This error is most likely caused by an error with your USB controller drivers.

 

Can you first ensure that your version of Windows is fully updated.

 

Then go to Device Manager and expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers list, right-click on USB Root hub and select Update Driver Software, then click on Search Automatically.

This will ensure that any problems with your USB drivers are resolved.
