You can try a system restore if you do not know how to do that please let me know.. You can try a system restore if you do not know how to do that please let me know..

To restore:

Click the Start button, click All Programs, click Accessories, click System Tools, and then click System Restore. If you are prompted for an administrator password XXXXX confirmation, type the password XXXXX provide confirmation. Click on Choose a different restore point, and click Next. You will see a list of restore points. If you find the date when the camera worked then click on it and click Next. Otherwise click on the check box Show restore point older than 5 days, and then select your preferred date.

The system restore will take a while to complete, when it does, your computer will restart automatically.. and let me know

Have used System Restore from 15 May 10 when download last OK.

And Computer/Printer option on camera has now stopped showing making it impossible to download

Have Undone Restore Process.

Connected Camera and Download to computer/printer was shown on camera screen.

But when given the OK to download to computer the Camera Wizard came to PC screen saying "Computer cannot detect camera-ensure device is turned on".

Reinstalled Samsung Master software to download photos but now the camera cannot download because the Computer/ Option does not show on the camera screen.

In other words it can download but it is rejecting the previously used software.

Please try my last suggestion if this does not work I will opt out from the question


Please connect the camera with the PC

Press click START-->RUN and type devmgmt.msc and press enter


Device Manager Will open up.

Look for any ! or ? mark beside any device name.

If you can see it then right click on the device name and select Uninstall.

Restart the PC check the issue and let me know.

Did exactly as instructed-found Other Devices and S M Bus Controller were both marked with??.

Right clicked and Uninstalled-Restarted PC

Still no Download from Camera

Checked with Device Manager and found S M Bus Controller again with ??

Are we getting warm?
