  • Dog: Vets office..worms..0 appetite, no fever, became slightly anemic.
    My Dog has been at the Vets office for about a week now. She has been having constant bladder infections over the last year, and mid way through this last one developed diarrhea that was 'tary' Every test has been negative (worms etc) but treated her anyway just in case.. it still persisted.. CBC showed her WBC to be x2 normal even though slight improvement. 0 appetite, no fever, became slightly anemic. After xrays today he believes it to be perientitus.. He has thrown several antibiotics at it, and is seeing a little improvement.. no blood in her stool, and it is now about 60% formed. She was spayed about two years ago. My question is, could the 'stump' left behind from her uterus being removed cause this and the constant bladder infections? Would she actually digest that blood and it appear in her stool? Would this happen that long after being spayed ?  Could this make sense as a root cause.. reoccurring bladder infections leading to the abdominal infection?
