    My guinea pig has a scratch on her nose which has bled and looks very sore. She has a habit of rubbing her nose against the metal wire of her cage when she sees my other two guinea pigs playing in the attached run. She is paired with another sow but is not allowed to come into direct contact with my other two sows because she or her partner bit one of the other guinea pigs. I suspect that she is desperate to bully the other guinea pigs again. How can I reform this character and treat her sore nose?

  • My 13 year old toy poodles personality has changed significantly
    My 13 year old toy poodle's personality has changed significantly in the last several days and I'm concerned that he may be dying. I took him to the vet yesterday, and they did a complete blood work up panel and a CBC. The CBC was normal in respect to his white count; however, the other blood work showed elevated liver function. I believe it was around 150 or so. His doctor has put him on S-Adenosyl 100mg 1/2 tablet once a day, but he doesn't seem to be improving. His normal behavior is very energetic outgoing and very much a lap dog, but now all he wants to do is sleep and hide and will not come even when called. I'm so concerned...
