  • border collie: is in the house with people
    I have a border collie. He is a sweet dog when he is in the house with people. Outside he is another thing. He has a tendencie of trying to take over and circle people and possible nipping. My husband can leave the house with him,the dog is loose and my husband goes in a building when he comes back out the dog comes towards him barking and hackles raised just as if he is a stranger. My husband talks to him and he keeps it up for awhile and then he gives up and starts whinning and is all over him. I am afraid he is going to bite someone. I don't want to lose him. In the house you can do anything,he is just a big puppy.15 months old. He never does it to me. Just other people.
    What can I do to correct this problem???

    My 18 1/2 year-old Tortoise cat is throwing up a bloody phlegm. It has happened three times in the last hour and is getting redder. We live in a very rural area. Is there anything I can do for her?

    My son just rescued a cat that is blidnd and has no canine nor front teeth. Our vet estimated the age between 5 and 9 years old. She has been living in the colony of ferral cats for a year, and was probably dropped there by someone, because she had responded to humans quicer then one would expect ferral cat to do. All of her blood tests came back negative. What would cause the cat to become blind and lose teeth?
