  • I caught my puppy chewing on a AAA battery earlier today. It
    Good morning!I caught my puppy chewing on a AAA battery earlier today. It was intact and there were not any punctures (just a small dent/scratch in the casing from a tooth). No fluid was coming out of the battery and the puppy seemed fine. I threw the battery out. It seems to have come from a remote control. I found one open with only one of two batteries left in (I imagine someone knocked it off or took the batteries out and just set it all up, and one battery rolled onto the floor). It has been a few hours and puppy seems fine - no drooling or vomiting and acting normal. Doesn’t seem to have any pain or irritation anywhere. Don’t see any ulcerations in his mouth or lips. Gave him some milk and bread just in case. Is there anything else I should do? It has been about 3 hours.
