I have been waiting since 6:00 pm for a response. Have paid $20. and the situation is dire without my questions answered.

Veterinarian's Assistant: What sort of animal are we talking about?

My 15 yr old Cushing Bichon. All I have gotten was delay

Veterinarian's Assistant: Maybe I'm confused. I thought you had a problem with a pet. Is that correct?

Need to know about meds...now

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. What is wrong with the Bichon?

I have already presented the question and paid with my amex.

Veterinarian's Assistant: Where does the Bichon seem to hurt?

She has been vomiting clear copious amounts of liquid

Veterinarian's Assistant: Hopefully it didn't make a mess. Did the Bichon eat anything unusual?

I have already answered this

Veterinarian's Assistant: What is the Bichon's name?

Aprile, has Cushing, recently a stroke and on meds. My I please converse with a qualified vet?

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Aprile?

Bllod pressure and anti clot meds as well as vetroryl AS I EXPLAINED... IHAVE COMPLETED ALL OF THIS.

Have steroid on hand, reccommend?

How much steroid?

Ask Your Own Veterinary Question

what type and mg?

Ask Your Own Veterinary Question

prednisone 5 mg?

Ask Your Own Veterinary Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
Prendnsone 2.5mg
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
Wow so much less

I cannot recommend since we don't know what the problem is...but if this is due to vetoryl then 1/2 of the 2.5 mg would be helpful...but you need to see your vet...

Ask Your Own Veterinary Question

Vomiting is a non specific sign of disease...in other words it can be due to organ failure, GI upset, toxins, drugs, metabolic disease etc, etc, etc,

Definitely plan am, but if tonight, will be hundreds. This has already cost thousands

I have to strongly recommend vet ER.....

Ask Your Own Veterinary Question

Can I help you further tonight or offer any other assistance?

Ask Your Own Veterinary Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
Do, bot***** *****ne do not give steroid, give rrglsn 6hrs. Provide water and vet sm unlrdd vomiting continues

I did not say don't give steroid...I said I cannot recommend since we do not know cause of vomiting......and I cannot examine your dog....if the vomiting is due to vetoryl steroid will help....if due to something else could hurt....small amount of water and small amount of food, go to vet ER if vomiting continues. See your vet in am regardless of outcome.

Ask Your Own Veterinary Question

I hope that makes sense...

Ask Your Own Veterinary Question

And I am sorry someone did not help you quicker tonight...many questions on here and only so many experts....
