Hello, My nine pound dog fell up the steps. I think he broke a toe. No money for surgery. He has all his shois because we had insurance with banfield.

Customer: I need to take him somewhere in waldorf. He is in NJ right now with my daugther.
JA: Where does the dog seem to hurt?
Customer: His paws and he is in pain. She took him to petsmart Banfield and they gave him some pain med.

Did the Banfield vet take an x-ray and tell you that a toe was fractured and he needs surgery?

Normally we do not do surgery for a fractured toe unless it is a compound fracture which means the bone is sticking out of the skin.
