My cat has been missing for over 24 hours. His microchip is registered with, and I've let them know he's missing. Should I also register his chip with a company like , which uses AAHA's Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool? ( )
Hello, I'm Dr Gary. I've been practicing veterinary medicine since 2007. I look forward to helping with your questions/ concerns.

If you still have his chip number handy, I would register it with AAHA as well. You'll have a better chance of somebody locating you if he's registered where there is a lot of traffic.

Best of luck finding him. Make sure you call local ER vets, animal shelters and humane societies to see if he has turned up or if they got any calls.

Hi Carrie,

I'm just following up on our conversation about Benji. How is everything going?
