Hello,
Is it true that animals see in black and white ? (not like humans which can see colors)
is this apply to all animals or a part of them ?
Thank you
Hi. I'm Dr. Gotthelf. I have been a vet for 33 years and I would like to use my experience to help you with your pet's medical problem.

That is more true for dogs and cats than many other animals. They have very few "cones" in their retinas. It is the cones that detect colors. Usually dogs and cats can see one or two colors in a very tiny amount.
