Hello, I am Dr. Peter a licensed Veterinarian. I would like to help.

Celebrex should not be used in dogs, it can cause gastrointestinal symptoms at any dose and renal failure at 40mg/kg. There are medications that we used that have a similar mechanism of action like Rimadyl and Meloxicam, these you will need to get through your family vet. If she has been using aspirin you will need to get her off aspirin for several days before using any other arthritic medication. The dose for aspirin is 5-10mg per pound body weight every 12 hours. A supplement that you can use is Glucosamine 20mg per pound body weight a day, you can buy this over the counter in any pet store, could also use human glucosamine.

Hope the above helps, if you have additional questions I will be glad to answer them.
