Hello and welcome I'm Dr Chip

This could be just from the trauma of the catheter but it could indicate a prostate or bladder infection and with your being on coumadin, any bleeding is worrisome

I suggest you let your doctor know about this right away so he can check things out and make sure the bleeding doesn't continue

Please let me know if you need any more information
