Goodmorning. What is the reason for the bilateral orchietomy. In general, you would use MAC (a type of general anesthesia that does not require the breathing maching) for this.

the reason is elective removal for elimination of testosterone suppression medicine. why not local??

Hello again, the incisions are located in both groins and you remove all the testicles and the sperm cords. The layers are deeper than a cut at the level of the testicle (as for a vasectomy). Could see if a nerve block with conscious sedation could be done. As a urologist what they normally like to do.

i am only seeking a *simple* version of this procedure, with a single incision in the scrotum, is all that necessary still?
Expert:  Ruple Galani replied 10 months ago.

It might be still needed. Your best bet is to contact urologists and see what they prefer to do.
