Hi Michael. Dysuria (burning with urination) is a typical feature of a urinary tract infection. If you have been sexually active and have a drip it is almost certainly an STD. If there is no drip it can be difficult to differentiate between an STD and a regular bladder infection. The only way to know for sure is to get tested. Your doctor can put you on an antibiotic while awaiting test results if there is a suspicion of STD. This usually clears things up within a week.
We cannot prescribe over the internet.. but you have to know what you are treating anyway, so testing is required.
