Occasional "pulling" pain after laparoscopic hernia mesh

Customer Question

Occasional "pulling" pain after laparoscopic hernia mesh repair, about 7 weeks post-op. Sometimes also occurs while going to the bathroom.I haven't been doing anything strenuous at all (lifting more than 10 lbs etc.). Just some walking on a daily basis. In general, the pain is less than right after the operation. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

Edit: the location of the pain is at the groin area

Have you noticed if the pain is brought on by anything (besides going to the bathroom) or it just comes and goes?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It mostly comes and goes, aside from the bathroom.

This is totally normal. Just scar tissue breaking up. This is fine

I noticed your accept rate is very low. Please don't forget a positive rating

experts might be hesitant to help in the future with such a low rating percentage
