Customer Question

An issue in the left side of my body
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: Beginning in January I Had a constant feeling that I had to urinate. My doc sent me for a ct scan, which came back clear. He was then going to send me to a urologist. A few days later I passed a stone and all sensations went away. This was over a time period of about 6 weeks. A few weeks ago I started having a knotted feeling in my upper left abdomen which has been feeling a little better the past few days. I have also been having some discomfort in my lower left side, but nothing that feels severe. Seems to be getting better but still lingers. My job can be physically strenuous. Not sure if it is muscle related or kidney/organ related
JA: OK got it. Last thing — Urologists generally expect a deposit of about $18 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Now I'm going to take you to a page to place a secure deposit with JustAnswer. Don't worry, this chat is saved. After that, we will finish helping you.

No

did you have a CAT scan with the stone?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
My doctor said there were no findings from the cat scan. A few days later I'm pretty sure I passed a stone because all of my previous symptoms (false urge to urinate) went away. And I'm pretty sure I felt it come out and saw it in the toilet.

It certainly could be a muscle or disc if you do heavy workA thoracic disk can radiate around the back and the belly/chest area

why do you rule out anything organ related?
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 1 year ago.
because the CAT scan would have shown it
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Even if these symptoms began after the ct scan?
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 1 year ago.
possibly not then

In that case it could be bowel relatedlike diverticulitis or IBSI would recommend going back inI wouldn't do another CAT scanthat is too much radiationbut a colonoscopy might help
