Customer Question

I am a 60 years old female. My microscopic urine test shows RBS -4, WBS - 11, bacteria - few. Colour - yellow, appearance - Hazy.
I do not have any symptoms of pain, or discomfort, or fatigue.
In the past I had similar problems with microscopic urine test
What could be a problem of the abnormal test? Could cancer be a cause?
Thanks, Irene.

Cancer is a possibility but very unlikely possibility. The chance of cancer in the scenario would be less than 5%.

Because you do have microscopic blood in the urine, you do need to see a urologist to do a full examination including cystoscopy and a CT scan to rule out any source of the cancer. Other possibilities of the bleeding include unrecognized kidney stones or an unrecognized urinary tract infection. Hope this helps and let me know if you have questions.
