Customer Question

I have had an externally visable urethral diverticulum for several years. I just noticed
that it has ruptured. Is it necessary to get it fixed, or will it heal on its own?

If this truly a diverticulum and had ruptured, you should have a catheter placed for a week or 2 to let it heal up. But you need to see a urologist for an exam to confirm that this is actually what you have first. Hope this helps.
