VerifiedThis is called lymphedema. There is nothing to drain. It is just swollen tissue from the lymphatic channels that were cut during the surgery to remove the foreskin. This will return to normal looking skin in 6-8 weeks. Hope this helps.
Yes, the swelling will go down.
If it does not, then they may need to remove the swollen skin with surgery. But I have never seen this to require further surgery after a routine circumcision. This will get better over time.
