Hello and thanks for trusting me to help you today. I look forward to working with you.
Has your doctor done a test on your bladder called urodynamics to see if your symptoms are related to prostate obstruction or is it due to an overactive bladder?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
No he did a ultrasound. During the day I can avoid going to the bathroom for 7-8 hrs. Its at night
Expert:  Dr. Y. replied 2 years ago.
Ok. If this just occurs at night, this may be due to a condition called obstructive sleep apnea. This can cause your body to produce more urine only at night and make you get up frequently to urinate. You need to get in to see your primary doctor to rule you out for obstructive sleep apnea. Hope this helps.

At night I do not necessary urinate more. I generally get up just to urinate for a few seconds.

Have they tried you on medication like oxybutynin to stop bladder spasms?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
no

looks like I probably cannot take this due to my job in transportation
Expert:  Dr. Y. replied 2 years ago.
Why can't you take it because of your job?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I'm a pilot it says Bladder Control - Ditropan (Oxybutynin Chloride), Enablex (Darifenacin), Detrol (Tolterodine Tartrate), Vesicare (Solifenacin Succinate) and Toviaz (Fesoterodine Fumarate) are no longer approved by the FAA. Myrbetriq (Mirabegron) may be approved by the FAA for bladder control after 30 days of symptom-free use.

maybe look at mirabegron
Expert:  Dr. Y. replied 2 years ago.
In this case, I would recommend your doctor consider the Mirabegron.
If you can't take any medication, then you may need to consider surgery to open the prostate channel such as a TURP or green light laser prostatectomy.
