Although alarming to see, this is a benign issue and not related to cancer or anything harmful or serious. The prostate, which makes much of the seminal fluid, can get inflamed and when it does, it can cause blood to be in the semen. Often, the prostate can get inflamed for no specific reason, but it can sometimes be related to a bacterial infection. If the bleeding doesn't stop within one week, I would go to your doctor for some antibiotics and a prostate exam. I find, however, that most cases resolve on a couple of days and never come back. I hope this helps. Please ask any follow up questions you have until you feel satisfied with your answer.
