In the urine

Semi annual checkup

HI Edward,

Do you have any symptoms of urine infection like - burning, pain while passing urine ?

Blood in urine ? Lower abdominal pain ?

Frequency of urination"?

Are you diabetic ?

Please let me know

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

no symptoms of urine infection

frequent urination

no diabetes

HI Edward,

At this age just wbc' s in urine without any symptoms need not be worried.Only wbc's in urine with symptoms needs to be treated.

With advancing age WBC's are normally seen in the urine without actual urinary infection. This is sometimes known as pyuria of the aged.

So as long as you don't have any symptoms, you can ignore this result. You need to treat the individual not the report.

Meanwhile drink plenty of water and cranberry juice.

I hope this answers your question.

Let me know if you have any doubts.
