Dr. Y : No. That PSA is too high. You need to see your urologist to consider doing a prostate biopsy to evaluate for prostate cancer as the cause of the elevation. Other causes of the elevation include prostate enlargement or prostatitis. The only way to determine the cause is to have a prostate biopsy done. Hope this helps.
