VerifiedThe results of a recent trial known as the REDUCE trial were recently published that showed that Avodart was shown to lower by 23 percent the risk of prostate cancer in men with an increased risk of the disease such as yourself. One of the other benefits of Avodart is that it improves the ability of PSA to find these cancer. So, men can take Avodart and may have a 23% lower risk of getting prostate cancer and the PSA test is actually going to be working better to find their cancer if they happen to be one of the men who is going to get it.
