VerifiedIf the suspensory urinal that you are using is leaking, you should talk to you urologist about using a condom catheter (which is similar to this) with some skin adhesive or paste applied to the penis to prevent leakage around the condom catheter. If this still doesn't work and he does not want a chronically indwelling catheter from his penis, then another alternative is a chronically indwelling suprapubic tube that exits from the bladder through the abdominal wall. Talk to your urologist about these options. Hope this helps.

Dr. Y gave you a very good answer, and I want to echo a couple of issues so that how it works is clear.
At night, he could wear a condom catheter. This allows a condom like device to be placed on the penis, and does not require any manipulation or insertion of any "tubes" into him- and when he voids, the condom catches it and it goes down to the bag.
This is the least invasive possibility. Everything possible after this is more uncomfortable and possibly painful. This is NO QUESTION what I would try on my own relative. If there is leaking from around the site where the condom is rolled on, the paste then can be used.
As a Palliative Care doctor who takes care of many parkinson's patients, this is the most comfortable, most humane choice. Whether you can get this at medical supply without an Rx I doubt, but you could go to the medical supply in the AM and get one (they will call Urologist for the OK) and give it a try ASAP.
Aside from this, diapers changed frequently is the only other possibility, but with these come risk of skin breakdown, sores, etc. Condom Cath, VERY specifically, no question the next step. Stoma Paste is also available at a medical supply.
Honestly, my friend, this is an easy solution.
