I have received a [summons] driving at 89mph at Stonebridge

Customer Question

I have received a [summons] driving at 89mph at Stonebridge Overbridge on A46, I believe it is a 70mph limit. I have zero points on my licence. Do you know if I will be given the option of a course? I have not attended a course in the last 3 yrs. I did one 10 yrs ago or so. Thanks

Do you have any other points?

No

You are eligible for the course then. Whether they will offer it or not depends on the policy and whether it is available in that area. Most areas have a course available now though.

Your speed was under 90 mph though and you have no relevant points.

Can I clarify anything for you? Jo

Thanks for that I wasn't aware of an under 90 threshold. Warwickshire do offer the course as long as speed isn't excessive and relevant points are not likely to breach 12. Seems I should be offered the course then?

Usually they will only offer the course if you have no points at all but you are in that category so you are eligible.
