This answer was rated:

I've just received 2 NIPs for sppeding 2 days in a row. 1st for doing 63mph & the second for doing 59mph in a 50mph zone. Both were in the same hired van & the rental company has passed on my details.

What am I to expect?

Am I going to lose my license?

Thank you for your question and welcome to Just Answer. I will try to help with this.

Do you have any other points?

How long have you been driving?

Oct 2009

You are not at risk of disqualification the realistically.

It is unfortunate that you are facing two prosecutions but if you passed two points of enforcement at speed then there is no way around that.

However, if this is 63 mph and 59 mph respectively in a 50 mph zone then you are only facing 3 points and a fine for each.

They may well even offer the speed awareness course for the 59 mph incident.

Even if you were prosecuted for both offences that would still only lead to 6 points. You have been driving longer than 2 years so 6 points will not lead to revocation.

Hope this helps.
