If you had told the Revenue that your company was inactive in advance they would not require you to complete a tax return until it became so. I realise, however, that you may have intended to trade through it but did not do so. Take a look here for more on this.

If you have been issued with a CT600 Corporation Tax return then it will need to be completed. Since you are probably concerned about missing the submission deadline, what I suggest you do is call the number here which is the office most likely to be dealing with your company's tax affairs.

My experience with calling this office is not good. They clearly have staffing problems as sometimes the call is just not picked up. If you do have this problem, call the number here. Hopefully, they will be prepared to deal with you.

Explain that you are in France and that you are likely to miss the submission deadline. With a bit of luck, since your company is dormant they may be prepared to cut you some slack and agree not to penalise you. That's really all you can do. My experience with dormant companies is that the Revenue are usually lenient, at least if it's a first offence.
