I have no idea why it didn't come through - is it showing on your "my Questions" - so that you can relist it?

However - to maybe save you the time - if you could advise what date you left the UK and what date you returned, lets see if we have even the beginnings of a valid claim before looking at the ins and out in the UK - and I do wonder, if the list is that long, whether in fact it may be that you did not leave the UK at all for a full tax year, but just merely worked out of the UK

So we could maybe start with the basic date you left the UK and the final date this job ceased, to see if a full tax year was achieved.

Thanks for your response

As the job lasted from 11/05/2009 to 22/05/2010 - it did not span a whole tax year -

As we are now 16/06/2010 and no new contract has been picked up to start from the end date of the last employment (22/05/2010) you are going to be treated as resident overall for 2009/10 and also for 2010/11

So I am afraid that as things stand you are going to be liable to UK tax on this oversees income
