Customer Question

Hi Stuart
I live in a block of 8 flats. We all own an equal share of the freehold. The person in the top flat wishes to convert the loft space to extend his flat. The loft space is not owned by him. I believe it belongs to all of us as we all own a share of the freehold. Does the top floor flat owner need to get permission from all of us to obtain this space or does he just need a majority. In our articles of association it states any questions raised by the company will be decided by the majority.
