I'm involved in a small claims case with a reasonably large UK company. Is there a resource on the Internet that allows me to look up similar cases and/or one involving the same company? How much does precedence play in small claims trials?

Legal precedents are relevant in any trial.

The Court obviously deals with the law so will consider any legal authority of relevance that you wish to put forward.

There are very few free legal databases. You could trial Bailii which may be of assistance.

But generally lawyers source information from legal text books or websites such as Westlaw or Lawtel which attract a few.
