Hello,

The Land Registry charge for copies of their records, there is no getting around it.

Aside from the obvious (asking/writing) you can submit an submit an index map search to the Land Registry for £5.00 if it is just land and does not have a property address. The will send you the titles over the land so you can see who owns it.

If you do have a property address then you can view the register of the property by paying three pounds for the register on this service provided by the LR:

https://www.landregistry.gov.uk/wps/portal/Property_Search

If this has been useful please kindly click accept so that I may be rewarded for my time.. It will be gratefully received and you will be free to ask follow up questions.

Kind regards,

Tom
