Customer Question

Hi, I have a Baxi 80e combi boiler - the light is flashing for the hot water sensor
JA: How long has this been going on? And how severe is the problem?
Customer: No hot water Tenants have just moved in and noticed
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Not necessarily But are there some simple check that can be done first? Like resetting, running the water, checking the guages etc?
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I just want to ensure the tenants have tried everything before sending out an engineer I've JUST had it serviced

To clarify: red light is on constantly for the Domestic hot water mode.
No hot water in bathroom in shower/tap. But there is on/off hot water in kitchen.
Temperature gauge has been lowered so it doesn't turn off - to 30-40 degrees

Hi sorry for the delay.
Yes it does indicate the hot water sensor has failed you can try switching the mains off for 5 minutes to see if it will
reset but im not hopefull it will work
unfortunately a service will not always indicate these failures.
