Customer: I Have a Worchester greenstar 440 and it is showing a error coed of EA wand the flashing triangle. I have held down for reset and it goes through the Po.P1 process and then stops at t and the fault light comes back again? Any ideas please
JA: How old is the appliance? Have you gotten error messages before?
Customer: It about 8 years old and no, we have not had the error before.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: No, but was hoping it was something easy!
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: It was working this morning. Serviced about 6 months ago, and the ignition light is not coming on. It does not seem to be firing up.

EA is the fault code for flame failure - meaning it has not lit.

It could be a number of reasons - I take it your gas is still on and working and has not been turned off to the boiler?

i suggest getting it serviced again and ensure the ignition electrodes are cleaned rather than inspected (if they were)
